
Sausage
Crust for Pizza
(Raquel - raque2000)
1 pound
sausage (I use italian bulk sausage)
Garlic powder to taste
Onion powder to taste
1 large egg
1/4 cup soy protein powder (I use soy flour..easier to find)
Mix all
of it together and press out thin in a greased pan (I use
a normal pizza pan. It doesn't always reach the edges, but
it doesn't really need to). Bake at 350 degrees for approximately
25 minutes. I pat off the excess grease with a couple of paper
towels.
Take it
out of the oven and add sauce (I found this great pizza sauce
in the walmart deli that has only 3carbs for 1/4 cup, but
watch the carbs with any other sauces) and all the legal toppings
you like. I pile the cheese on and then bake for 10-15 minutes
more. It tastes great for leftovers so I always make a huge
pizza when I do this."
