Tidbits & Advice

Notes to Newbies
(Chris - maymaiden)

Since we have a few newcombers I thought I'd make a couple of suggestions that might help you through those first difficult days.

Be prepared, as you may experience a headache at first. It's your body just adjusting to a new WOE. It will pass so don't give up!

Be sure you are eating enough at your meals to feel comfortably full. Sometimes when we start a *diet* we think we have to feel hungry for it to be working. That's not the case here, so don't deprive yourself. If you have cravings and to help with any headaches, do snack on those craving reducing veggies and drink lots of water, it can help.

Above all, be patient. Remember, this is a WOE that will work for you for the rest of your life, so there's plenty of time, no rush to a finish line!

And also remember that yes, you probably will stumble occasionally, we all do. Use any stumbles as a learning experience to better handle situations the next time around. You're a success as long as you keep trying!
