Success Stories

I have to share! I'm over the moon this morning!
(Jen - jen22001)

I haven't seen much movement on the scale, however, I did tell you guys that I was going to hang in there and I've started biking behind my boys. I huff and puff like crazy on the hills around here. But.....it is soooo worth it. I've gone about 5 x - that's it and here are the results already! By the way only 20 minutes or so of biking - I can't do more -my legs feel like jello.

I've lost off my waist, tummy, and hips - 3" in total. I've lost 1" off my thighs, 1/2" off my calves. Unfortunately, nothing off my boobs and arms yet (maybe that will still come?). I'm scared to do weights for the upper half in case I look a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger's sister!

Buuuut, what I'm saying is 4-1/2 inches!! I'm into a pair of shorts I couldn't wear 2 weeks ago. Yeah! And the scale hasn't really moved. I'm still at 135 lbs, but frankly I don't care that much; I'm more interested in being smaller than in what my weight is on a scale.

So, my advice, if anyone is not doing this yet, purchase a garden variety measuring tape and measure before you begin an exercise program and then during and after.

Let me tell you, I've done ballet (and that works too) and I've done aerobics and that works - however, both these need to be consistent and they take much longer to show results. The biking showed results practically instantly. I could NOT believe my eyes this morning!!!!

Doing a happy, happy dance today! I've got a new addiction - biking! (smile)
