Tidbits & Advice

A reward idea to keep you motivated
(Sandy - sandign)

Several months ago I started a "reward" program for myself. It goes like this...
For every week I have a loss I put $10 in a piggy bank. For every week I have a gain I take out $5.00. For those weeks that are even, I don't touch the money.

To date I have $195 in my "reward" fund. That's 21 weeks with a loss and 3 weeks with a gain. The rest were all even. This money is to be spent on anything I want when I reach my goal!!

It's fun to look at the all the $10.00 bills. Now it doesn't have to be $10, you can always go with a different amount. BTW, I might add, when my DS found out what it was he told me that when I reach my goal or at the end of a year (whichever comes first) he will match what's in my reward bank.

Just a thought. It's great motivation.
